Since 1984 he has been involved in the design, build and active operation of arenas and stadia worldwide, in the UK, Germany, Hungary, France, Italy, Malaysia, Croatia, Denmark, Malta, Kuwait, Qatar, Lithuania and Ireland.

He is also continuously involved in Live Events, Festivals, Exhibitions and Conferences internationally.

In recent years Martin worked as the Site Coordinator for concerts by Madonna, Sir Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, George Michael and at the Ultra Festival in Croatia.

For thirteen years he has organised, hosted & chaired panels at the ILMC Production Meeting in London and also regularly chairs panels at Eurosonic. He introduced the Event Safety Alliance into Europe and co-founded the International Live Event Safety Symposium (ILESS), held in Istanbul in 2015.

Along with Maté Horvath, he founded and runs EPFE, the Event Production Forum East, in Budapest, now in its fourth year. CEE’s conference for the event production industry..

Martin was a consultant to Intellitix, one of the world’s leading companies in the ‘access control and cashless sales’ industry, from March 2015 until March 2020. This entailed working actively with festivals and events in Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Ireland, USA and the UK.
